  EGR-Cooler is one of the key components of the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system. EGR is a method in which part of the exhaust emissions of the engine are extracted from the exhaust pipe and then returned to the intake system of the engine, where they are mixed with the clean intake air for combustion. As the exhaust gas has a temperature of up to 450-700 degrees, it is necessary to use an EGR cooler to cool it down to a certain temperature range, so that the engine can work more efficiently. The exhaust cooling technology is the key technology and method for reducing the nitrogen oxides (NOx) in automobile exhaust emissions, wherein the EGR cooler is a must-have product when vehicle exhaust emissions reach the EU IV, EU V and even higher standards. It is an emerging environmentally friendly product.
  The strategies for dealing with the EU IV emission regulations being formulated by organizations at home and abroad are as follows:
  1. Further optimize the internal combustion of cylinders: to improve the air-fuel ratio, and further delay the fuel injection;
  2. Cooling the EGR: using high EGR rates and short EGR loops, to compress and cool the EGR;
  3. After-treatment of tail gas: Nox reaction processing, particle capture, and post-combustion of particles.

  Gearbox oil cooler is a device for accelerating the cooling of lubrication oil so that it is kept at a lower temperature. The purpose of installing such a device is to prevent the oil from being heated up which may weaken the lubrication function. According to different cooling media, oil coolers can be divided into two types: the air-cooled and the water-cooled.
  Transmission oil cooler: the air-cooled type realizes the cooling function by taking advantage of the airflow generated in the process of driving. The water-cooled cooler is usually installed inside the water chamber of the water tank or the separately circulated cooling water system of the vehicle, which cools the high-temperature oil through heat exchange with the cooling water.
  A transmission oil cooler is one of the key components of the diesel engine system and the transmission system of automobiles, which is widely used in heavy-duty trucks, large and medium-sized passenger cars and construction machinery; what’s more, the application area of transmission oil coolers is extending towards such fields as cars, ships, as well as industrial and civilian products.

  Hydraulic retarder cooler: In recent years, the transport industry is in urgent need of higher operational efficiency and faster traveling speed, resulting in the dramatic increase of the demand for higher-power engines. However, the efficacy of the truck-mounted brake system cannot live up with the need due to multiple reasons.
  Hydraulic retarder coolers need improving, especially for passenger cars and some heavy-duty trucks which have higher requirements for safety. These requirements are beyond the capabilities of conventional braking systems; therefore, it is imperative to install the hydraulic retarder or other auxiliary brake systems; nevertheless, the cooling for hydraulic retarder has become a critical problem; having repeatedly carried out studies and tests on such products, we now have reliable technologies for production.

  Tube-type oil coolers can be divided into carbon steel, stainless steel, and brass cooling tubes according to different materials; and they can also be divided into fixed tube sheet, floating head, and U-tube types according to different forms; the heat transfer area is between 0.5m and 500m. In recent years, we have developed new and efficient oil coolers of stainless steel tube type. The advantage of this type lies in the fact that its heat transfer efficiency is 2-3 times higher than that of the column-tube type, in addition to strong corrosion resistance, long service life and other excellent performances.
  When you are buying the tube-type oil coolers, please inform us of the cooling area. The methods for cooling include the LY optical tube type (commonly used) and the LYC finned type. We usually choose red copper as the material to make cooling pipes for heat exchangers; we can also use stainless steel or brass to make heat exchanging components based on users’ needs.
